How to: Hide formula bars, status bar, and sheet tabs in Excel.
Solution:
Select 'Options...' from the 'Tools' menu, then click the 'View' tab. Select the 'Formula Bar', 'Status Bar' and 'Sheet Tabs' check boxes.
1) Select the 'Tools' menu and select 'Options...'. (The Options dialog box appears.)
2) Click the 'View' tab.
3) In the 'Show' group, select the 'Formula Bar' and 'Status Bar' check boxes.
4) In the 'Window Options' group, select the 'Sheet Tabs' check box.
NOTE: By selecting the fields now, the objects will be hidden.
5) Click 'OK'.
